Lecture 5

From the lecture, I was able to understand that information systems security are precautions to keep the information systems safe from unauthorized access. The most common computer threat is alterations to information and unauthorized people. Computer viruses are mostly found in the forms: virus,worms and Trojans. Overall, from this lecture my understanding of information systems security has improved, as I've got a greater understanding of how threats and viruses work but how they can be stopped.
From the seminar, I became more familiar with how to do IFs on excel as I was struggling to get the rating to say fantastic or not good enough. I had to refer to the Nested IFs Tutorials to find out how to do so. Then exercise 2 & 3 were easy,but exercise 4 was tough as I didn't separate it for the different sales per month.
